PSU SPSEA & PACE
What is PACE?
PACE, also known as the Political Action Committee for Education, helps to boost PSEA’s mission by advocating for legislative change and the election of education-friendly politicians.

Here are some of PACE’s current focuses:
-
Increase minimum educator salaries to $60,000
-
Invest in a statewide scholarship program for aspiring educators
-
Pay student teachers for the work they do
-
Get more school counselors, psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals into our schools
Voter Information Drive
On October 24th, we handed out QR Codes across campus that are linked to PSEA’s voter toolkit and general website, so that Penn State students can make informed choices of who to support during the upcoming election. While the registration date for the upcoming election has passed, this website also offers knowledge of how to register for future elections in the case someone is not already registered.
Banned Book Club
We are so honored to have received the NEA Create Grant to help support our first ever banned book club! Stay tuned for more information, we can’t wait to share our upcoming events with you all!
